Uitong, the means by which humanity is delivered at the time of the Autumn Gaebyeok, is founded upon a gift of salvation bestowed by Sangjenim: the Taeeulju Mantra (태을주 太乙呪).

Sangjenim Himself brought the Taeeulju Mantra to completion, gathering within it the vital energies of life and healing and establishing it as the ultimate medicine—capable of restoring mind, body, and spirit. Through the practice of uitong, the Taeeulju Mantra provides deliverance for humanity from the Autumn Gaebyeok’s mysterious disease.

“The Taeeulju Mantra is a prayer to heaven and earth, the mantra that will save people throughout the world at the time of gaebyeok. When the catastrophic disease strikes at the coming of the time, chant the Taeeulju Mantra constantly to save numerous people throughout the world.” (Dojeon 11:258:1-2)
